House of Assembly 13 seats · 4-year term · Mixed system: nine members elected from single-member districts by plurality and four members elected territory-wide by block vote

The Governor represents the United Kingdom and retains reserved responsibilities, while the Premier and Cabinet manage domestic government and are responsible to the House of Assembly. The Premier is appointed by the Governor, the Speaker and Attorney General are not elected by voters, and general elections are normally due every four years but may follow an earlier dissolution.
